This website is operated by Stepin Women Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in Takoradi, Western Region, Ghana.

All health content on this site is general education and awareness material. It does not constitute medical advice and must not be used as a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Please read our Medical Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Use of this website

You may read, print and share our content for personal, educational and non-commercial purposes, provided you do not alter it and you credit Stepin Women Foundation. You may not:

  • Republish our content commercially without written permission.
  • Present our material as your own, or remove attribution.
  • Alter health content in a way that changes its meaning and still attribute it to us.
  • Use this website in any way that is unlawful, or that could damage or impair it.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems.

If you are a health organisation, community group or school and want to use our materials in your own work, please ask. The answer is usually yes, and we may be able to help.

Photographs and identity

Photographs on this site are the property of Stepin Women Foundation or are used with permission, and may not be reused without consent. You may not use Stepin’s name, logo or identity to solicit money, imply endorsement or represent yourself as acting for Stepin.

If in doubt, check with us. If someone contacts you claiming to represent Stepin and asks for money, or gives bank details different from those published on our donation page, do not pay. Contact us first using the details on this website.

Donations

Donations are processed by Paystack or received by bank transfer to Stepin’s official accounts. Donations are voluntary and, other than in the case of a genuine error, are non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us and we will deal with it fairly.

We link to external websites so that you can check our sources. We are not responsible for their content, and a link does not imply endorsement.

Availability and accuracy

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Health content is reviewed on the cycle stated on each page.
